Young children often ask ‘what is scuba diving?’ and to answer their questions PADI dive centers such as those found around Florida provide The PADI Seal Team experience.

Most of the dive centers throughout Florida have PADI qualified instructors who provide activities such as The PADI Seal Team.
The children experience action packed fun whilst carrying out ‘AquaMissions’. With activities such as diving with flashlights and digital underwater photography the PADI Seal Team gain experience and confidence whilst having fun.
Whilst they are enjoying their ‘AquaMissions’ the child who asked ‘what is scuba diving?’, is already learning all about safe diving and learning skills such as wreck, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness and much more throughout their diving experience.
All these activities are carried out in the safe environment of a pool and aimed at children aged 8 and above with the ‘AquaMissions’ taking about an hour at each session.
The activities build confidence and awareness with the use of scuba gear. It also provides the opportunity for children to be prepared and start on the skills required for the Junior Scuba Diver course which will allow them to dive limited depths with the appropriate supervision. So the next time you're asked 'what is scuba diving' get them to join a seal team!
