Molasses Reef Deep

Located on the ocean side of Molasses Reef are some spectacular deep dives between 12-18m (40-60ft) and a drop off to 27m (90ft).

Drift diving along this reef and in the deeper regions you will come across plenty of soft corals such as Elephant Ear and Barrel sponges.

Further up there are sandy channels and beautiful coral formations populated with angelfish, rays, and groupers to name but a few.

If you plan this dive well you can get some great scuba diving pics as this area is renowned for its photo opportunities.

An excellent drift dive and loved the soft corals at the lower depths. I met a cousin of mine, a Hawksbill Turtle and saw a large ray buried in one of the sandy channels.

Even I managed to get some excellent scuba diving pics.

If you dive Molasses Reef - do not forget your camera!
