All Alone

Located one mile southwest of Western Sambo on the Ten Fathom Ledge is the wreck of a tugboat known as All Alone.

At a depth of 90ft, the broken remains of the 70ft hull provides shelter to marine life such as groupers, barracuda and snook.

If you are scuba diving in Key West this dive is a popular destination due to the large marine life found at this dive site and at these depths

One of the many reasons for going scuba diving in Key West is the clear waters that are continually swept clean by the Gulf Stream which passes close by - so don't forget your underwater camera on these scuba diving trips!

Key West has some very popular dive sites and many have been photographed. Scuba diving videos are probably the most popular method of recording dives and below is a brief video of a typical wreck dive at Key West.

This video is by Sand Key Lighthouse and gives you a sample of what to expect when diving off the Florida coast (Press the button second right on the bottom of the video player to see it in full screen)...

Terence's Log

An excellent Key West scuba dive site with lots of gullies and sandy passageways to explore. We came across some Fire Coral and took extra care not to come into contact with this fascinating marine life form.

Saw two nurse sharks and a lot of barracuda when we reached the drop off. Visibility was a lot better than we thought it would be for such a popular spot.
