Weeki Wachee Springs is a great place for learning scuba diving as the warm clear waters make it a pleasant experience with the clear water making it easy to see the instructors as you will see in the video below.
The springs are also famous amongst scuba cave divers and every-one of all levels, students, cave divers, and experienced scuba divers can all get something out of this dive site. Here you have the opportunity to dive with otters, fish, turtles and manatees, and there are not many places in the world you can do that!
This is definitely one of those unique places in the world worth a visit if you are in Tampa Bay.

This is a special place. The spring is fed from fresh water that bubbles up out of subterranean caverns at a temperature of 72 degrees providing crystal clear warm water in which to dive.
This is more than just a dive site as it is a park with all the family entertainment you could ask for so if you need something for the family to do whilst you go and enjoy yourself … this is a great place to be.
