Maimi Dive Sites
Two M60 army tanks at the bottom of the ocean surrounded by limestone boulders providing an amazing sight and the perfect backdrop to some fabulous marine life – where else would you see such a sight except Miami!
Scuba Dive Miami
Located in just 50 feet of water these tanks which are part of the famous Miami Wreck Trek are now home to some interesting marine life with the tanks already covered in soft and hard corals and spiny lobsters lurking in the nooks and crannies.
When referring to nooks and crannies the limestone boulders house hundreds of interesting marine creatures and make a great backdrop for those underwater photos and videos especially close-ups.
One of the reasons this dive is so popular is because it is within easy reach of the Matthew Lawrence Memorial Reef which is a 100 foot salvage ship dedicated to the Matthew who was a pioneer in underwater videos.
Scuba Diving Videos
This Miami dive site is a great site in relatively shallow waters and therefore provides great lighting for underwater photographs and underwater videos. This video was taken at Army Tanks and you can see why this site is popular when you see the amount of marine life caught on camera (Press the button second right on the bottom of the video player to see it in full screen)…
Terence’s Log
This was a great dive that I enjoyed and know you will enjoy. You will find the marine life incredible with moray eels, hundreds of lobsters, crustaceans and many others.
There is plenty for you to see and explore and you have to get your photo taken by the tanks – this dive is a must!
