A scuba diving holidays in Florida means cave, wreck and coral reef diving with marine life like no other…

Marathon Diving – Tennessee Reef

Located in the south west region of Tennessee Reef is a 49ft iron light tower which clearly marks this shallow reef.

Unfortunately many a ship had struck this reef before the tower was built in 1933. Wrecks such as the Bridesmaid, the Virginia, and Olympia lay scattered amongst this reef.

Book a Florida Key scuba charter to this site and you will be scuba diving amongst brain, lettuce, star and soft corals with various sponges adorning the shallow reef.

One of the advantages of booking diving holidays in Florida is that when travelling to dive sites such as Tennessee Reef you will encounter angelfish, butterfly fish, porkfish, wrasse and many others providing plenty of opportunities to take scuba diving photos in the clear blue waters.

An easy going dive with a lot of marine life throughout the area. Saw some grouper and an amazing amount of angelfish. Some of the brain coral was stunning

Thoroughly enjoyed what was an easy dive and any novice divers booking scuba diving in The Keys will want to dive this site to gain some experience
