Although this is only a basic hotel, you will find this hotel both modern and in excellent condition.

The beach is on your doorstep if you fancy a bit of snorkeling or fishing, and there are fantastic views of the sunset.

Location – Central to Key Largo so within easy reach of restaurants, dive centers and everything you could want for a great stay including Starbucks next door, very handy.

Good size guestrooms – the rooms are of an adequate size considering you will be spending most of your time out of the rooms scuba diving etc. and they are clean and very well looked after with fresh towels etc

Beach – the beach is a sandy area between the two jetties but you do have private access to the water from the hotel so you don't need to go far for a splash or snorkel.

Dolphins Plus - while at this hotel do not miss the opportunity to swim with the dolphins (only 1 mile - 4 mins away), an experience not to be missed!

Key Largo has many scuba diving centers within easy reach of most of the hotels and you will have no problem finding a reputable center.

Terence's Tips

You will find the Bayside Resort great value for money if you plan your stay wisely. Snooks is great for a drink (especially during happy hour) and you can watch amazing sunsets but it's not somewhere I would eat as I believe the menu is overpriced.

There are plenty of fabulous places to eat nearby, but if you're really on a budget or just tired after a long day scuba diving, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby and you can eat in your room and then wander out to watch the sunset.

This is one venue I would recommend.
